Application of Kitronyx's Pressure Distribution Measurement System for Secondary Battery Inspection Equipment (EOL)
Purpose
In secondary battery inspection equipment, maintaining uniform pressure application is crucial.
If pressure uniformity is poor, variations in battery thickness or errors in defect detection may occur.
Traditionally, pressure measurement film has been used to check uniformity.
However, this method has limitations in quantitatively evaluating uniformity.
To overcome this, we conducted tests to introduce the PressureScan II for more precise measurements.
Results
When comparing traditional pressure measurement film and PressureScan II simultaneously, their visual patterns appeared similar.
However, PressureScan II provided real-time numerical data and visualization, enabling a more quantitative and intuitive analysis.
Expected Benefits and Applications
Automating Quality Inspection with PressureScan II
By leveraging the PressureScan II, quality inspection processes can be automated.
When combined with the advanced features of ForceLAB2 software, the system enables more efficient and accurate pass/fail assessments.
