Application of Kitronyx's Pressure Distribution Measurement System for (공정 이름)

Purpose

In display manufacturing and quality inspection processes, the stage’s pressure uniformity directly impacts panel bonding quality and yield. Accordingly, the customer sought to quantitatively verify the pressing uniformity of the stage (pressing tool) during the lamination process and reviewed the applicability of our pressure distribution measurement solution for this purpose.

In particular, a key challenge was verifying whether the solution could operate properly in a vacuum environment identical to actual production conditions. To address this, our sensor and dual-mode (wired/wireless) controller were installed inside the vacuum chamber, applying a structure that enables real-time pressure data acquisition from outside the chamber via Wi-Fi communication.

Results

When a sensor was placed inside the vacuum chamber and a tool was positioned on top with negative pressure applied, the following pressure distribution pattern was observed.

The tool’s shape was detected in real time through the pressure distribution data, and the overall pressing appeared to be relatively uniform. This confirmed that our pressure distribution measurement solution operates properly in a vacuum environment and can reliably visualize real-time pressure distribution.

Although a visual inspection indicated that the pressing was generally uniform, the customer requested a more definitive assessment. In addition to shape verification, they sought a solution capable of quantitatively evaluating the tool’s pressing uniformity and contact condition to establish objective evaluation criteria.

To address this, we developed an algorithm based on sample data, deriving meaningful quantitative indicators tailored to the customer’s process characteristics. The results were presented in ForceLAB2 as analysis criteria that can be utilized for quantitative evaluation, serving as valuable references for establishing the customer’s quality and internal assessment standards.
